Summer picnic menu abundant and delicious

The weather prediction for thunderstorms didn’t come about, as we had a perfect summer day for the picnic. It was hot, but breezy in the shade, so fairly comfortable outside. The menu was well rounded, with delicious salads, local sweet corn, deviled eggs, pesto/anchovy tomatoes, bean salad, mac & cheese, and lots more to go with the grilled chicken, hot dogs, sweet Italian sausage, and burgers. And after all that, we still had a dessert table full of delectable home made and specialty store sweets. Nobody went home hungry!
