A New Christmas Tradition at Rockhaven – Caroling and Treats!

In 2020, we were not able to have our usual Christmas Party, so we tried something new.  A small band of carolers, including 2 residents, a current and past board member, Carl and I, delivered gift bags and brief carols in the very cold, early evening.  We paused long enough only to sing one verse per apartment as we hurried along.  The gift bags included 7 varieties of cookies, one loaf of bread, a bag of caramel corn, a packet of cocoa and a candy cane.  Next year, if we do it again, we will probably be a little less ambitious with our baking!  Everyone seemed to appreciate the bags and the singing.  We carolers enjoyed it too!
