Executive Director’s Corner: “Feeling Warmly Welcomed”

I want to thank everyone who has helped make me feel warmly welcomed to Rockhaven. I arrived the week of Thanksgiving and was quickly invited to a family’s holiday celebration. I have been literally and figuratively embraced in this loving community. My husband Carl has been in Washington State getting our house ready to sell. At Christmas time I was welcomed to a large family gathering over the weekend and a Christmas feast on Christmas day with another group. We also had our traditional Rockhaven Christmas party in December.

Not knowing Connecticut, I have set out to visit all the churches in the state. I expect to move out farther to visit Christian Science churches in other local states.
