2012 United Way Day of Caring Volunteers

September 20th was a whirlwind day of activity at Rockhaven. It was the annual United Way Day of Caring. Across the nation, teams of volunteers fan out to fix up, dress up, and shore up hundreds of non-profits as a community service. This year, a team of 16 workers from United Health Care, came with a smile to paint fences, railings, curbs; to wash windows and garages; vacuum basements, and remove air conditioners. We couldn’t believe what an attitude of helping that they expressed! They did about two weeks of work in just 5 hours! Thanks to the whole gang that did so much for Rockhaven. We’re very grateful!
